About Me
I hold an MSc. in Information Technology from Carnegie Mellon University and a BSc. in Computer Science from Ruaha Catholic University. I have experience in designing, implementing and supporting enterprise VAS applications. My work spans areas of System Design, DevOps, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Distributed Systems, Data Science, Responsible AI, Auditing, Privacy, Regulation and Quality Assurance.
I'm currently a Research Associate at the Upanzi DPI Network and the University of Chicago's SUPERgroup (Security, Usability, & Privacy Education & Research group) supervised by Blase Ur. My research interests are in Usable Privacy and Security, System Reliability, Responsible AI and HCI, most recently focused on:
- Implementing and assessing web authentication protocols for e-government services in low-resource environments.
- Quality assurance for Digital Public Infrastructures (DPIs) and Digital Public Goods (DPGs).
- Studying the security, privacy and usability concerns for mobile money services in Africa.
